When it comes to working out at home, there are tons of different types of exercises that are available. However, in order to get results, you need to make sure that you are focused and persistent. You need to continue over a period of time in order to get the desired results. You must understand that your body would take time to respond and transformation which you are looking for is not going to happen overnight. Here are a couple of effective workouts for you which you can try at home.

Spot Jogging:

This workout is meant for boosting the rate of metabolism in the body, which in turn would help in the process of burning fat. The name says it all! Al that you need to do is to jog being stationed at one place. Try and raise your knees as high as possible. To begin with, make sure to stretch for at least 10 minutes. Then gradually you can increase the time. After a couple of weeks, in order to add more resistance, you can get hold of two weights; dumbbells would be the perfect option. This work out would help you lose tons of fat and would also improve the strength of our hip, calf muscle and core strength.

Jumping Jacks:

This is yet another very effective workout for burning fat. As a matter of fact, jumping jacks are known to be useful for the entire body. It boosts your metabolism rate and at the same time improves your core strength. All that you need to do is to stand in an upright position.  Then jump up in the air as high as you can with both your arms rose. At least 20 repetitions is required over 3 sets.

Bar Piece:

If you are looking to improve your stamina, reduce fat and increase endurance, then bar piece would just be the perfect option for you. This exercise looks easy; however, it can be a bit difficult to perform, especially, if you are doing it for the first time. But one thing is for sure, if you can do at least 1 repetition in 3 seats each, on regular basis, it would yield excellent results. All you need to do is to start at a sit up position and then lift your body and jump as high as you can.

Push Ups:

This is the most common of the all the exercises and is a very popular one as well. Pushups are the best options if you are planning to tone your chest, arms and shoulders. As far as pushups are concerned, it is entirely up to you as to how many repetitions you can do. More hard you push yourself, more effective it is going to be. There is however, one important thing that needs to be mentioned. Do not do this on a daily basis. It can make your shoulder muscles stiff. Try it every alternate day for the best of results.

Sit ups:

This is a very effective exercise if you are looking to burn your belly fat and at the same time improve your stamina and core strength. This workout is all about repetitions.  More repetitions you do, more effective it will be and more quick would be the results. Lie down on the floor with your knees folded and then raise the upper portion of your body at 45 degree angle; hold for 3 seconds and then get back to the starting position. There are different types of sit up exercises; however, as a beginner, this one would just be the perfect option for you.

Side Bends:

This one is a very effective workout if you are looking to tone the sides of your abdomen. It helps to burn the fat that gets accumulated at the side. All that you need to do is to stand straight with your legs slightly spread. Then raise both your arms. And the slow bend towards the side; at both ends.  Repeat it for as many times as you can.

Stretching:

Stretching is important because it helps to improve the flexibility of your body and at the same time improves your core strength. There are different types of stretching exercises that can be done. If you are new to it, then stick yourself to the basics for first couple of weeks.

These are some of the workouts that you can do at home and get incredible results. These workouts help to burn fat, improves core strength, stamina and at the same time helps to enhance your level of fitness. However, at the end it needs to be mentioned once again, that in order to get the best results, you need to be persistent and focused.
